EVERYBODY’S FIGHTING DAME
Mahama, the NDC's big man for 2024 has got beef with Godfred Dame, our Attorney-General. Mahama claims Dame is acting more like the NPP’s legal muscle than the Justice Minister. Mahama is especially peeved after the Court of Appeal let some guys off the hook in the ambulance deal scandal.
Mahama even dragged out a leaked phone call where Dame supposedly tried to twist witness arms to nail the Minority Leader. Mahama’s promising that if he gets the keys to the office again, his AG will focus on real justice and not these alleged political vendettas. He said Dame’s antics would’ve been shut down as “malicious prosecution” anywhere else.
Mahama’s main gripe? Dame’s not as pumped about chasing current gov scandals as he is about the past ones. He’s accusing Dame of playing favorites and vows that his crew will go after everyone who’s dirty, no matter their party colors. According to Mahama, Dame’s forgotten he’s supposed to ensure fairness as Minister of Justice and not just be the A-G. Read more
